The Institute has a number of branches throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. It also has a number of overseas members. Branches meet on a regular basis and hold lectures, seminars, workshops, etc. to enable members to keep up-to-date with the latest chiropodial developments. Many branches also organise social events throughout the year.

Each branch has two representatives on an Area Council and each Area Council has one representative on the Executive Committee. There are also seven National Officers appointed annually by the Membership General Meeting. The seven National Officers are:
