Welcome to The Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists web site. Chiropody and podiatry are now regulated by statute and to use the title a minimum of a three degree course is necessary.
So why does the Institute provide courses in Foot Care? Well, we are the most democratic of all the bodies associated with foot health and we represent all levels of care, whether through the Institute or our associated bodies, for example the College of Healthcare Practitioners.
Should you elect to undergo one of our courses, you become an Associate on successful completion, with all the benefits that association brings - for instance attendance at branch meetings, business support, insurance, bi-monthly journal, annual conference and continuing education courses, to mention but a few.
