Brief course overview

This is two days of intensive practical training, based on western principles of acupuncture which is called DRY NEEDLING.

Pre requisites: HCPC registered chiropodists or podiatrists, please note L/A certificate is not required.

Course content: Theory of medical dry needling, contraindications, demonstrations and hands on practical session.

Aims: Students will learn when and how to utilise this procedure safely. This course will cover treatment for knee to toe problems.

This two day course is only £295 and includes course notes, refreshments and a box of needles.

Musculoskeletal Examination of the Foot and Ankle Course

 

£145 includes course notes, refreshments and CPD certificate.

 

This course will cover some essential anatomy, but will mainly be practically lead by the course tutor and associate. The course teaches practical Orthopaedic, and musculoskeletal examination techniques to help diagnose common conditions mainly affecting tendons, ligaments, nerves, bones and joints. An ideal day for the introduction to, or as a refresher for, new and experienced practitioners. 

 

 

 

By the end of the day you should feel confident and comfortable, assessing musculoskeletal conditions, such as talar instability, midtarsal arthroses, plantar fasciitis, ligament injuries, tendonitis or tendinosis, and many more. We will cover advanced testing e.g, kleiger and simmonds test, and help your abilities to identify and use key landmarks, and orthopaedic techniques, to enhance your diagnostic capabilities. Learn when further imaging would be appropriate, and what the best test’s would be. Including Ultrasound scanning, mri, x-ray and CT scanning. Essential skills, key to any orthopaedic or musculoskeletal clinicians.
